6D Art Pen Studies

Here are a couple of real quick studies using the 6D art pen from wacom. About 15-20 minutes on each. I love the pen, you can get a lot of variation in brush strokes, just by rotating the pen. I have shown some of you this technique in class.

Yea, it does work with photoshop. You must adjust the settings in shape dynamics. Change the settings to rotation. But, I personally think it works better with painter. You can adjust the brushes to bleed into each other. It feels like real paint.

WOW! These are beautiful and have the naturalism I rarely see in digital. I love it, Robert!

Hey Robert, I just got the 6D Art Pen for Christmas. I thought I was going to be able to use it with my custom marker brushes that I created in Photoshop, but it's not working the way it works in Painter.

I'm new to Painter, how did you achieve this effect?

Very nice, I stumbled across this while looking for reviews on the 6D Art Pen.

Which brushes are you using to make these, may I ask? They seem to work very well with the pen.
